Greg Kelly, Managing Director of Ultimate Security & Investigations Ltd supports the call by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for licensing of Private Investigators in the UK as the SIA have just this month asked for feedback from Investigators nationwide regarding the necessity of Licensing.

“This is the kind of service you can expect to receive from Ultimate.

They’re the best security firm around. The actions of this officer prevented the theft of a very valuable item. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

Greg has already submitted his survey to the SIA in support of the regulations. The Private Security Industry Act 2001 refers to and recommends the licensing of Investigators. As an ex Police Officer Greg ensures he self regulates by working to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) which was introduced by the Government to regulate Authorities wishing to breach the Human Rights of individuals in matters of serious criminality or terrorism.

Greg insists his investigations begin with a consultation to ensure they are proportionate, necessary, justifiable and legal.

We will keep you updated on the Licensing regulations as and when they become available.
